Build around the bank, the bay and the charging path
For lead-acid replacement, begin with the existing wiring and each charging source. A single 24V-class pack removes the inter-battery series link required by a two-battery 12V bank, but still needs a suitable charger, system protection and secure mounting.
- RV house power: check inverter demand, daily energy use and any 12V loads that require a separate supply or DC–DC conversion.
- Marine auxiliary power: review current demand, restraint and terminal protection. IP65 does not permit submersion.
- Off-grid storage: verify controller settings, disconnects and the operating temperature at the actual installation site.

Nominal energy is calculated as 25.6V × 230Ah. Usable energy and runtime depend on load, temperature, operating limits and conversion losses. Time-limited discharge is not an engine-starting rating. Multi-battery systems require matched batteries and the model-specific connection instructions.
Cold-weather charging needs an external safeguard
This version has no built-in heater or automatic low-temperature charge cutoff. Keep charging within 0°C to 50°C. Select a suitable temperature-controlled charging arrangement for installations exposed to freezing conditions.
Check the installation before ordering
- Measure the enclosure, mounting points, terminal clearance and cable bend space.
- Identify the charger, converter, solar controller and alternator charging path.
- Record continuous loads, startup surges and required operating time.
- Confirm conductor sizing, external fuses, disconnects and environmental exposure.
Request the current mechanical drawing and model-specific datasheet for your configuration. A Group 8D designation alone does not guarantee fit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it replace an existing 24V lead-acid bank?
It can be considered for a 24V lead-acid replacement project after checking the charging profile, inverter limits, available space, cables and circuit protection. A similar voltage label does not establish compatibility. Provide the current bank arrangement and equipment models for review.
Can this battery start an engine?
No. This is a deep-cycle energy-storage battery for house and auxiliary loads. The short-duration discharge values are not CCA ratings and do not establish engine-starting capability.
Does it include Bluetooth or self-heating?
This version includes neither Bluetooth monitoring nor a built-in heater. If your project needs monitoring or cold-weather heating, specify those requirements when requesting a separate configuration.
Can it charge below freezing?
Charging is specified from 0°C to 50°C. This version does not include automatic low-temperature charge protection. The installation must prevent charging outside the permitted range; do not rely on an automatic cold-weather cutoff.
How much inverter power can it support?
The 200A continuous discharge rating corresponds to 5,120W at nominal pack voltage. That is a battery-side calculation, not a guaranteed AC inverter rating. Allow for actual battery voltage, conversion losses, startup demand and the limits of cables, terminals, fuses and the inverter.
What is needed for an OEM quotation?
Send your application, system voltage, continuous and surge loads, charging equipment, battery-bay dimensions, temperature requirements, target market and estimated quantity. Include drawings or wiring information where available, plus branding and packaging requirements.
